All three judges correctly have it 80-72 for Sadam Ali.

    There were no "close" rounds.

He's a good looking prospect, but obviously in need of more of a challenge to continue learning.

It's time for super middleweights! :happy

Caminero started out looking good against a handful of nobodies, then got matched a bit too tough a bit too fast and had a bad spell of three losses in a row without a single easy bout in between. He has since bounced back with a pair of upset wins over some other prospects.

Polish boxer-puncher Majewski is undefeated, a year younger, and three inches taller (but it looks like five inches...he's got a Paul Williams body type).

Easiest fights to score, a hot prospect winning all the rounds in convincing fashion.

    Round 1

Majewski shows a very nice long jab. Caminero hurls a 1-2 from the outside and then scurries out the back door. He tries this a few more times, and squats into a few body jabs as well. Majewski is just beating him on the trigger with his quicker and firmer jab, and when he catches Caminero hanging around too long on the inside he just mauls him with superior strength and wails on him with short punches (and stiff forearms when Caminero tries to loll his head around to escape harm). Majewski is snapping Eddie's head from mid-range with his jab and right hand. Caminero keeps trying to push the 1-2 up into Majewski's face and does seem to have reddened his right eye slightly, but lost that round big.

    10-9 Majewski

Yeah, and Guzman offered nothing to puzzle him stylistically. He didn't clinch. He wasn't particularly awkward. He wasn't a relentless swarmer. He just plodded and lobbed.

    Round 2

Caminero is forcing Majewski to brawl with him. Hard left and right attacks from Caminero are mostly absorbed on the biceps and hips of the Pole, and Caminero is getting countered down the middle but he does back Majewski up. They are landing punches together - and quite loudly, too. Caminero shows a good chin as Majewski lands a perfect straight right hand lead. A few of Caminero's windmills must be getting through up top, as Majewski has some nicks and swelling. Most of Caminero's touches seem to be to the body.

20-18 Majewski, but this was a much closer round.

The cut over Majewski's right eye is shown in slow-motion replay to have resulted from Caminero countering over a Majewski jab with a high looping right hand that only just brushed his brow.

    Round 3

Caminero is committing to the brawling tactic, getting sliced up with the jab and 1-2 but holding his ground and getting some of his own leather in. Big right hand lands by Caminero. Majewski begins to back out of the exchanges and regroup on the outside. Caminero drives him to the ropes with a side-to-side body attack. Majewski is now boxing off the back foot as Caminero jabs his way after him. Caminero loses his discipline and starts windmilling again when Majewski starts getting away. Caminero walks into a pair of jabs. He steps past a third and opens up an exchange with both arms clapping against Majewski's sides and the taller man clobbering him atop the crown.

Again, closer round but still Maj.

    Round 4

Majewski jabs and steps out as Caminero tries to duck and dive inside. Majewski keeps his distance and keeps circling and popping the jab. Caminero quickly gets sick of this pattern and starts bombing his way in recklessly. Majewski is able to evade virtually all of the wide punches but is forced to give ground. Majewski lands a lead right hand counter but Caminero gets a wild left in on the tip of his chin simultaneously. Majewski keeps his punches straight and long while Caminero just slaps with incredibly wide and formless strikes.

This was very clear to Majewski, like the 1st.

    Round 5

Majewski is dialing up the 1-2 like he's trying to win tickets on the radio...every other second. Caminero has his arms swinging in front of his face more to deflect the stinging straight punches of Majewski than in an attempt to land anything. Caminero has switched to southpaw and is leading with right hooks. Majewski seems only slightly confused by this, as Caminero lands a couple of lunging combos with the right hook and a long slapping overhand left. Majewski quickly begins to time the rushes and gets back into a rhythm of jabbing and circling. Caminero goes back to orthodox and gets picked off from range. BIG right hand by Majewski. Caminero responds with a pair of power punches, each mostly blocked but putting Majewski slightly off balance with their force.

    50-45 Maj

Which round did you give Thunder? I was tempted in the 2nd and especially 3rd but figured it was just my bias creeping in.

    Round 6

Majewski is landing a jab a second, and snapping Caminero's head back with crosses in between (as well as some of the jabs). Caminero isn't going anywhere, though - he's trying every offensive trick in the book now, including lead uppercuts and rolling his upper body in & out of the pocket to distract Majewski from a surprise overhand right. It isn't enough to score but he's keeping the crowd interested in what's going on. Wild hooks miss by Caminero as sharp little jabs land for Majewski.
