Majewski is now using the hook like a jab, leading and creating distance with it. Caminero has no effective counter against it and therefore continues to eat it, having his head rocked and his feet unglued from the canvas many times. Caminero tries a more cautious approach, jabbing his way in and holding his guard together. He axes his way in with an overhand right. Majewski is using his left arm like a stick to push Caminero away and knock aside his punches. Caminero looks tired but still determined. Majewski looks tired and like he wants this to be over with already.

 

Technical difficulties require the broadcasters to show a replay of the eighth round delayed by a couple of minutes.

A familiar pattern - Caminero windmilling and Majewski throwing straight through and crashing into his face with jabs and crosses. The referee was already starting to jump in as Caminero finally fell facefirst toward the ropes.
