Actually a really good fight:think It's really evenly matched at this point, but voting against Adamek is counterproductive. I like this fight for Glaskov.....it'd be a great win for his future and for his resume. A real boost to his credentials, but atm, this win does nothing for TA....he doesnt need Glaskov for his resume, and beating him at this point doesnt do anything for his legacy. I think Adamek should have stayed in the title mix, as he could have easily beat Boystov and gotten the cash out fight that Leapei is getting. Still think Adamek is gonna be in the WBA sweepstakes later this yr.....the fight was supposed to be Ortiz vs Chagaev, but that aint materialized as theyre both inactive. Adamek could easily get a fight with WBA ranked fighters Oquendo or Jennings and get his "vacant" title from that fight. Not that we would recognize him as a champion, but history will remember him as having won the title in 3 wieght classes.:think
Yes, if Adamek wins there will be many options for him. He'll also be ranked highly by the IBF, since this fight is a quarter-final IBF eliminator (as is Thompson-Solis).
This should really be Glazkov's moment to shine, but I'd be surprised if he's able to dominate Adamek. I enjoy watching Glazkov box, but I am continually surprised at how ineffective his offense is. As old as Adamek is, against a younger quicker boxer, I still expect Adamek to win a close decision here.
glazkov is pretty average and Adamek has been on the slide for a while. he lost to chambers and cunningham, he doesnt deserve a shot at any titles
This weekend was poor for boxing, but it's better next Saturday: Glazkov-Adamek Chilemba-Grachev Vlasov-Buchanan Brook-Robles Bellew-Brudov Garcia-Herrera Wilder-Scott JM Lopez- Ponce De Leon Wawrzyk-Botha Chakhkiev-Haapoja Drozd-Ouanna Ekimov-King
Adamek never lost to Chambers. His fight with Cunningham was close, but I scored it 115-113 for Adamek because Cunningham was overly defensive, running too much and not throwing enough. Benjamin (BJ) Flores was extremely biased against Adamek in his commentary during those fights.
This shitty parroting has to end. You could argue with the Cuni fight, but **** you have to be blind or totally sympathetic for Chambers (because of his arm) to score that fight for him. There is no question in my mind Adamek won handily against Chambers, the only knock I have on him for that fight is that he and his corner obviously failed to recognize the injury, which was pretty obvious considering Chambers' output.
Adamek seems relaxed here with a woman giving him an interview: www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjHTcK33suo
