If Adamek lands the right punch on those suspect whiskers, it's all over.

Thats a great point. Adamek and Holyfield are exactly the same. In fact I think every ly heavyweight ever should just go to heavy and become an atg.

Seriously, TA isn't a featherduster like malinaggi or something, but he is by no means a puncher. He wasn't even a puncher at 175. He can be a good heavy. I just can't get excited about a guys who is going to be a boxer in most fights but has a short reach and minimal power. Its a style that is susceptible to losing to all different styles unfortunately. On the other hand, the division is so weak outside of Wlad he can certainly carve out a decent run and career, it seems. Its just not something that is that interesting to me, sorry. I think Povetkin has similar stylistic problems of not really really excelling in any particular stylistic facet...but Pov is a little better and a naturally bigger man.

Oh come on Zak. Ruiz landed rights on Haye and didn't hurt him. And while Ruiz certainly isn't a crowd pleaser, we can all agree that his boxing skills and right hand power and right up there with the very best, even at his current age (he jus has bad promotion is all).

If it goes to the cards, it will be very close- within a few rounds either way. However, someone is getting knocked out. toss-up IMO.
Obvious advantages both ways. Hay has speed and power. Adamek has toughness and chin. Would be interesting, and possible foty candidate
