I've always been surprised how little media attention he gets and he doesnt rate a mention much on this forum or others. Not too sure why.

    He fights bums thats why..

Boxing is about respect, earning it for yourself and taking it away from the other guy. Will hasnt steped it up what so ever and demands respect? it must be earned and taken from a champion. He is just another Mundine trying to make a name for himself fighting C grade opponents. knocked back a legit crack at Adrian Broner because the kid just isnt that good.

anyone looks good fighting cab drivers.

And the haters come out to play. I've worked out why he doesnt get a mention around here now. Thread just gets hijacked.

See I'm happy to reserve my judgement. He's had some entertaining fights. He's gradually increased the level of competition. From SE Asians to Mexicans. He's still young. If in fact he was offered the Broner fight, I'd be surprised if anyone thought he was ready after fighting asians with elaborated fight records. Still early in his career. I'm interested to see what he does with the IBO trinket.

Tomlinson to be honest is probably 1 of Australia's better looking prospects but if he fights the likes of Adrien Broner he is going to get destroyed very early. His team are going to have to take a risk on the road sometime soon for the lad to go places on the world stage. He can only go so far fighting these mediocre imports without the financial backing.

what you want him to step it up too quickly and fight adrien broner? that did wonders for willie kickett didn't it, confidence or lack of can ruin a fighter, he is in entertaining fights and as somebody said he has been gradually stepping up his opposition, give the kid a break

For a kid whos had 90 amateur fights he sure is taking his time in stepping it up. In Comparision, by Kostya Tszyu's 14th fight he was fighting for a world title. Tomilson has had 19 fights and is going no where fast. Thats not hate, its FACT. None of the guys who claim people who state fact are haters can even explain wtf a bloke with 90 amateur fights under his belt has even been matched with 3/4 of the fighters he has faced, its fraud, missmatching and a scam and you want people like me to jump on board?

Tomilson trains in a cotton wool factory and is a protected species, plenty of blokes here in AUS would defeat him but they wont fight em and only match him with hand picked opponents to make him look better than he actually is. U cant improve fighting bums, u improve by taking risks, stepping it up and taking the title from the champion, Will has done neither nor will he. He was lucky to get the IBO title and he didnt earn that shot either, it was given to him by Phil Austin with much more deserving fighters being sidelined because they wont suck Austins balls

Kostya had 270 am fights you ****wit, and was world champion amateur. A massive difference from having 90 fights here.

Lets put this into perspective. Anthony The Man Mundine. Zero amateur fights. Fighting for world title in Germany in his 11th pro fight. No.2 P4P of modern era.
