Possibly the third best welterweight of the 40's,after Robinson and Gavilan v the best one of the 80's ??? I say Leonard,by decision. Close thing,though.
Hard to say without extensive footage on Tommy Bell. Neither Gavilan or Robinson had an easy time with him, but in the end he came up short. I imagine the same would happen against Leonard.
