Tommy Burns vs. Marvin Hagler

I am a big fan of Hagler, but I don't see this as a mismatch at all. Roldan gave Hagler lots of trouble until he got accidentally thumbed. I don't see why Burns couldn't give Hagler a tough fight.

 

Anyone here including me say Hagler was not an ATG fighter?

Great fighter at middleweight.
That doesn't mean he can give Burns 15/20 pounds. Marvin must have had doubts about his capabilities at higher weights because he sure never ventured out of his class.:think

 

I don't think so. It took him so long just to get the Middleweight titles in the first place so why not enjoy the fruits of his hard labor? Better to be the most dominant fighter in your division for a decade than a great contender in 2.
