No, explain it to me, how can somebody be the godfather of something that existed before he did?

People were fighting MMA long befre Brucie was cha cha dancing his way to the Hong Kong Championship.

I mean did he have a time machine to go back and show these men how to fight (which would be odd considering BRUCIE NEVER ACTUALLY FOUGHT)? Or is it just a mind-control machine he uses on you kung-fu movie watching virgins?

Simple.....What Bruce did was "EXPOSE" the ineffective elements with other forms of martial arts and take what was effective and utilize it in his own art form. Others who "cross trained" before were just cross training to learn other forms. NOT take what worked and disregard what didn't as Bruce did.

Today that's exactly what MMA is about...Taking what works and eliminating what doesn't.

 

MMA wasn't even a thought even when Bruce created the foundation for it. YOu obviously have a hard time comprehending logic so I'm not really eager to spend the time you need to help you. You keep on with your "Mind control, kung fu, virgin" theroy little guy. It fits you perfectly.

 

MMA was already being fought before Bruce Lee was a fully formed sperm.

Homie......Kumite, Vale tudo or any other tournament or competition that has been around for ages were for INDIVIDUAL FORMS OF MARTIAL ARTS TO COMPETE AGAINST OTHER FORMS to allow for one winner. And it was not a representation WAAAAAY back when of the "MMA foundation" which is a mixture of martial arts pulling only what works and making it your own. Big differnce of what we now consider MMA today.
