Ffs campbells had 3 fight and hes trying it on. on ringside last night. This will be junior witter ricky hatton/ froch calzaghe all over again but at least let campbell get a few fights under his belt before you ask him to paste you. Coyle knows it will be his best chance of a big pay day esp with it being a local derby and i think hes wants it before campbell finds his feet as that will be his only chance.
bollocks After his fight on sky he was thanking Luke for bringing boxing to Hull so he could have home shows.
Haha to be honest i had a little giggle when i saw it on ringside i thought here we go again not already let him get 10 fights or so out the way then see were hes at
Calling out? The comments I heard were an answer to a direct question of whether he'd ever fight Campbell and he said yes, because boxing's a business and it would be massive fight for Hull. But after the fight they'd share a beer as they've grown up training together. Hardly a 'calling out'.
Some of you go way over the top. I thought his comments were spot on. He was grateful to Luke for the shows he's bringing to Hull & will always be friends with him but if the money was on the table he'd fight Campbell & shake hands after. I'd love to know what's so bad about that
dare not ever challenge p4p number 2luke campbell whos on the same level as lomenchenko and has already notched up three knockout wins over world class opposition.
calling out ??? LOL get a grip man he answered a question, as said in other comments Tommy is grateful to Luke and Eddy for bringing these shows to Hull and giving him the opportunity to fight on them. Im sure at some stage they may fight and it would be a massive occasion in Hull but this thread isn't fair giving Coyle stick saying he called him out.
Coyle said nothing wrong even that they are friends but it's a business & would be friends after a possible fight. It would make decent money for both & if there is enough interest which there would be can't see why it wouldn't happen some point.
He stopped someone who hadn't been stopped before... I don't know if his power is worth banging on about as you put it, but he has done all that can be asked of him.
Cant see anything wrong with anything he said, but I remember him calling out Curtis Woodhouse a while ago. While he may be the favourite after his last win,by no means a foregone conclusion. As near as dammit to 50 50,and a good local derby.Hull vs Driffield.Winner to fight Luke in about a year, maybe.
He's only boxed 7 rounds in his pro career, give him 6/7 more fights while upping the competition and he would be ready for Coyle.
