Coyle is tailor made for Davies, he would get badly hurt in this fight unfortunately. Be entertaining till the end but as that could be a painful watch. If Coyle was still the fighter he was when he fought Mathews except for ending of feet would have a chance but stopped using boxing skills after that fight, blocks punches with face always matching forward. Davies bigger, stronger hits a lot harder easy fight for him.

As much as I'd love Tommy to chin him, he's too easy to hit and Ohara hits too hard, it's that simple.

All can suck off OD when he fights overmatched weaker small men, u lot disgust me. Carterall and nurse would best the crap out of Davies.

I like Coyle, he just blocks too many punches with his face for my liking. OD blitzes him in 3

Tbf to coyle, when he turned over he was a good boxer type. Somewhere along the way hes turned into a brawler, now whether hes thought that the brawling is what people want to see and so tailored his style that way or whether its moorseys stamp, im not sure.
If Tommy had of stuck to the style he had when he first turned over and was trained by stevie smith, i reckon hed of gone further.

Never seen so many boxing fans agree so much ! Styles make fights and unfortunately Tommy would make Davis look good

Why does Coyle keep getting these fights on Sky?

He is 2-2 in his last 4 fights, Campbell beat him up, Nurse beat him, he has a seriously suspect chin and just isn't all that.

Davies needs to step it up in my opinion, this isn't going to do him any favours, he'll blow chinny Coyle away in a few rounds at most but what does it prove?

If they really believe in Davies then they have to be doing better than Coyle.

I think they were always going to do this after the Taylor defeat, bud. They’re going to pad his record against fodder to build a big fight late next year. For all his deficiencies has a boxer, he really knows how to sell a fight does Davies.
