Bangs one square on as Singleton is flashing both gloves on the lateral move, dropping Singleton heavily. Singleton is up and slightly more cautious now, bouncing around on the outside with high double karate-chop outward jabs. Eggington still dialing in that right hand lead down the middle with perfect accuracy. Eggington is walking Singleton down, slipping his jabs, scoring the right or making Singleton duck hurriedly to clear under it.

Eggington is throwing jabs and body shots on the way in, closing ranks defensively, taking blows on the arms while Singleton flurries back, and continuing to apply steady pressure. Eggington is sloughing free when Singleton holds on after being hurt by the odd right hand.

Eggington is cutting the ring down, heading Singleton off as he looks to circle free, nearly trapping him on the ropes. Eggington is throwing jabs and short curling rights at the head coming in, and getting netted out by Singleton's horizontally raised arm. Singleton pulls Eggington into a clinch. Eggington shrugs him off. Eggington is walking up to a pace off, using lots of feints to scare Singleton into picking a direction and taking off, before walking him down and attacking him near the ropes with jab and chop flurries at mid-range.
