Good job his insta life and dad can sell his fights for him, his chat is nearly as poor as his boxing. He'll make millions but it won't be from actual boxing.
Why is he so bad ? Surely being around the heavyweight champ must have rubbed off a bit. He couldn’t knockout a pensioner with a gammy leg. He’s way worse than Campbell Hatton and he’s terrible. What’s wrong with him ? Is he a bit thick ? As someone said before, the way he celebrates after squeezing past a couple of right spanners ( one of whom knocked him down ) is a bit sad really.
He has no dog in him, no fight, he's scared of getting hurt, the second he's in a real fight against a live opponent he'll get folded and slept. The second he gets cut he'll absolutely brick it.
Hasn't he been training since a nipper? He's absolutely shite. I think it shows that because boxing's a simple sport, someone with decent genetics and a couple years of training can level up close to a fighter with crap genetics who's been training since a kid. It's not like muay thai or mma where even mastering the basics takes years.
Incredible that you are describing a person who is now a multi-millionnaire earned in a boxing ring. Done nothing, achieved nothing yet earned all that PPV Loot. Those PPV Mugs need therapy.
If I was him I would give that KSI clown a rematch as it would be another good pay day but this time demand it be over 10 rounds with a referee of his choosing.
I've seen some people making excuses for Fury by saying he's a novice himself. Which he is, but by pro boxing standards. In context for this fight he's from a boxing family, been boxing his whole life and was up against a youtube nerd who only started boxing when he was already a pro.
This. He's terrible, but has somehow found his niche. No way is anyone advising him to leave this all now and move to real boxing. He just has to keep up the pretence that this is his plan, so that he can continue to run the 'real boxer' narrative in the build-up to the next carnival show.
tbf with MMA, you get plenty of people with zero combat sport experience, usually failed athletes from other sports, who take up MMA later in life, and then become top contenders in the UFC within a short space of time. Travis Browne and Brendan Schaub are a couple of good examples.
Heavyweight's are probably the exception. MMA heavyweights are ****. A good boxer like AJ could go over and do damage in the premier organisation.
Tommy is only 24. He could spend the next 5 or 6 years making millions and still have time towards the end of his "career" to have a go at a British title or whatever. Fair play to him why not.
Can see him rematching KSI and staying around the celebrity boxing scene. Worth noting Fury has been a pro since 2018 and still would not likely win the English Title in 2023. He is going nowhere as it stands in any pro title picture.
Seems Tommy isn't quite finished with this rubbish : Asked if that meant it was his last crossover fight, he explained: "I'm done with the bulls***. F*** the bulls****, on to the next challenge. Any of the Pauls want it I welcome it with open arms."
