Anderson Silva would be a favourite over Fury in my opinion. He's arguably the greatest MMA fighter ever, he wasn't the same after the nasty leg break.

I don't rate the boxing of most MMA fighters very highly but whatever way you want to slice it Silva has beaten a former world champion, yes one who was shot and smaller but he still beat him and has looked rejuvenated whilst competing in boxing rules.

Tommy Fury is still a novice.

I'm not so sure Silva slips punches very well and from what I have seen of Tommy Fury he doesn't really throw punches in bunches.

He used to in his prime, that was what he was a master at, but we seen it with Roy Jones, that attribute declines first and the most rapidly

I'm talking about his last two fights mate. He was slipping punches very well against Chavez Jr and he was against Ortiz. Fair enough Ortiz is a relatively limited opponent but the way Silva dispatched of him was impressive.

Anderson Silva has been doing boxing training for 30 odd years, and has always kept a keen eye on boxing. He's said that it was his first love. I accept that he's quite old, but Tommy Fury doesn't look very good, and he is no more proven than most men you could pull off the street. I would definitely go with Anderson Silva in that one. Would Tommy Fury beat Jake Paul?

I think it's impossible to say how far Silva could've went. He's an immensely talented fighter, so I would not rule him out of achieving a world title in boxing. There have been plenty of pretty average looking belt holders over the years and Silva definitely has something special about him.

I'd love to see a street fight between Anderson Silva and Carl Froch.

Lol well I think you need to study a little harder then..... or perhaps think before you type before I call uncle Roger.

Where were those fast explosive hands when he plodded around against 0-1 MMA fighter Anthony Taylor a few weeks ago? The single pro boxing fight he had being 4 years prior against a debutant which resulted in a loss.

Anderson Silva even at 46 years old is levels upon levels better than Taylor in both boxing and MMA.... and as of right now there is no way Tommy would, as you said, 'easily beat' Silva.

I’d 100% back Silva to win.

Think a few on here severely over rating Tommy fury. Yes silva is ancient but fury is crap. No coincidence every one he faces has 0 power no experience, small or 1 million losses on there record or given a few days notice

Would fancy jake Paul to beat fury and as much as that saddens me to say that it's true.
