These kind of silly fights make stupid money.

 

When you hoped Joshua-Paul was boxing bottoming out, along comes this catastrophe.

 

Tommy Fury outboxed Jake Paul over 8 rounds, and while, in any other reality, on a skill level, it should have taken place in front of 200 people on a York Hall undercard, it generated more money than most world title fights that year. Why fight legitimate, talented boxers when you can fight Jake Paul, Eddie Hall and make millions every single time, it's a no-brainer. I blame society rather than Tommy Fury to be honest.

 

Nah, Tommy Fury is a "celebrity" boxer at best. Bit different to a former unified champ taking on a YouTuber.

Comparing the two fights is like comparing 2 ugly women. There is no upside.

 

TBH it's probably a good thing Tommy isn't serious or credible...

I'm probably not the only one here that would probably prefer Eddie win on personality side of things, even if I would basically always want a real/credible boxer winning any kind of novelty bout.
