Do you think so ? i was asking cause there older ,that is all . Prospect are a small fish in a big pond... Paul will tell you that himself mate .... :good
Older equals more knowledgeable mate unlike the young pretenders who want to be something before they've earned it. Everyone knows who's the boss alba anyway
4 years ago I was on a business trip which took me to Glasgow. The company which I visited had tickets to a fight in the basement of a hotel(Forte Hotel,I believe) and I am sure it was called the St, Andrews Boxing Club.It was a great nite out, very formal and we enjoyed a nice meal and wine while the fights were going on.Is this Gilmour's venue for the fights and are they still holding the boxing matches there? Just curious.
They still going strong, now held at the new Radisson hotel . The best boxing dinner shows in glasgow, easily, not biased, just been to the rest and its my opinion
No, but been to about 8 of them. Nice and relaxed feeling, been to others that felt like it was half full of plastic gangsters, and dare I say it some real ones ;-)
But if it is boxing your going to go to Alex Morrisons shows there far more evenly matched IMO. With the fullest of respect Tommy's and Paul's are ridiculously one sided and in real terms lets the fighter think there better than what they actually are, sorry but very true.
im going to one next month, looking forward to it .Have to say in principle im not into the thought of dinner shows, but keen to try it anyway.:good the thing is the St Andrew Sporting club has been going for 40 years , so they must be doing something right ... ive heard the Morrisons ones are good , and i remeber reading that Willie Limond fought for the WBU belt on it
I am sure you would agree that most shows you go to are matched so the home fighter has advantage?? Saw many a fight on Alec's that were one sided also. Alec shows are good but prefer tommys. just a preference
Yes I trained willie for that title, there was a excellent atmosphere that night, shame willie never defended it.
