12 rounds, no weight limit. How does this one go?

No takers? How good was Tommy Gomez? Almost matched him up with fellow "heavyweight" Tommy Morrison instead but that seemed like too much of a physical mismatch.

You pose us with a tricky one here.

We don't actually know much about Gomez, except that people who tasted his power raved about it.

He was obviously a contender with exceptional power, but he does seem to have built his record against B grade opposition.

There are also unknown factors regarding how Stevenson would handle the step up in weight, though he is obviously much better pound for pound.

If I was going to introduce Stevenson to that heavyweight division, Gomez is probably not one of the matches that I would be looking to make, on a risk reward consideration.
