Tommy Hearns at MW had bigger arms than Ali

    Anyone find this weird? Hearns was said to have 15.5" inch arms in the Hagler fight.

    Ali only had 15 inches to his arm.

    Ali had 60+ pounds on Hearns had a higher BF% and wasn't much taller at all. Hearns has got to have the weirdest build I've ever seen. He just defied everything I've ever known physically.

    I have 18" arms and a little bitty guy like Mayweather would starch me.
    Obviously, that's not a huge concern for anybody.

    Hearns also wasnt a puncher as an amateur but Steward helped refine his technique to make him a bomber

    This. Technique is most important, not arm size.
    Why can some people throw a baseball 90+mph, yet come in all different sizes?

    Technique. Using arms, shoulders, core, and legs at the same time for maximum power.

    How big were his arms at welterweight? At welter he was as quick as Ali also!

    Wasn't Ali just slightly taller? About 2 inches or so?
    Ali himself was not a big puncher, Hearns was.
