If they actually boxed, Hearns probably knocks Pac out fairly early.

No shame in that for Pac. Hearns smashed Duran and would have smashed Mayweather too.

 

If Hearns hopped on the bicycle against Pac, there would be no knocking him off. For as much stalking Tommy did, he was a sublime boxer when he turned up the heat. It would only be a matter of time before he found an opening.

 

That's the older, mellowed, humble Hearns. The younger version who went in there to kill wouldn't have had that mentality, and Pacquiao would do about as well as James Shuler.

 

I could see a Duran type KO from a less humble more in touch with his youth Hearns.

 

tommy could touch him from across the ring. too much ground for pac to cover trying to dart inside. especially against tommys dead on nukes.

 

Hearns would have destroyed Manny the same way he destroyed Duran, Manny was too small and Hearns waws one of the best finishers of all-time, Manny never faced a jab like Tommy`s, first good right hand finishes the fight, Tommy would have destroyed everyone of Manny`s opponents, I`m only including the fighters that could have met Tommy at welter.

 

There's no way Hearns would have beaten Mayweather. May would have stayed at 140 the rest of his career and waited until Hearns retired.

 

I agree with everyone else. Hearns just wants to hug Pac Man.

 

Frankly, this fight could look a lot like Pacquiao versus Margarito. Pac could use his better footwork and combos to back Hearns up and overload his defense with combinations. Hearns size and power could flatter PAC but I’m not sure he is able to land a bomb on the aggressive pac.

Hearns for sure would destroy Gayweather but Pacquiao is a much harder fight for him

That would probably give Pac his best chance of catching him.

Hearns brilliance came from his superb boxing and superior reach. If he went out there and just settled down and boxed, he would hold every advantage and sooner than later he'd have his opening and KO pac same as Marquez did

Hearns probably saw how Marquez walked him onto a right hand counter and likely thinks he can do the same which lets be honest with his right hand is very likely. Though with Tommy's 11 inch reach advantage he could do it on the front foot too, just wait for Pac to reach in with the left then boom fights over, Pac taken to the ER.
