Illuminating post and Yes....Froch also made powerpunchers look impotent. He fought men listed as the big punchers of their time...like Arthur Abraham and made them look lambs. Froch was a real oddity...he had some of the 'slowest' cumbersome punches but quite extraordinary reflexes...and somehow in duels with speedsters like a young Andre Dirrel or Jean Pascal. Carl was also a great finisher and many times he did it late as with Jermain Taylor and Brian Magee. I'd clarify my earlier post. I consider the Hearns who fought Andries and weighed 165lbs ( it was reported he carried pocket weights at the weigh in) a super Middleweight version of Hearns...as was the fading guy who fought there later in 88-89. Froch loses to the former .land beats the latter in my opinion.
