    Unquestionably.

Not sure what Mayweather's track shoes are like at 35, but if he fought the same way he fought Miguel, he'd have been ripped to shreds on the ropes.

Could Vasquez beat a 35 year old Floyd?

I got to see that one on the coast of Oregon. Wright definitely won that one. I think Winky is underappreciated but he is a bit of his own worst enemy. He is very cute and full of tricks.

BTW, when Hearns fought Leonard so brilliantly the first time he was the same age as Wright when he fought Vasquez.

I really believe people overrate Hearns at 147 and 154.. **** even 160... The fact is, he wasn't unbeatable and this was proven time and time again. He got sucked into battles or false sense of security numerous times. JCV has the tools to get the job done. That said, I wouldn't make him the favorite, but to think this fight is no contest like some are saying.. is well, just absurd considering both their styles and records.

Hearns would dismantle Vasquez, there is no fight here, complete mismatch.

    :thumbsup

Surely that demonstrates how much better Tommy was than Winky? And makes Vasquez replicating that kinda' form even harder to imagine?

I was thinking upon re-watching the Cotto fight; the Vasquez of Pea would cause Floyd massive hassle. A brute of a junior middle. Cotto is not.

It also confirmed to me that Julio Cesar Chavez would probably push Floyd's **** in prime for prime.

Revert to three years ago when I started this thread and I picked Hearns. A one-sided blow out, tho, it would not be. Not if get that primed Vasquez before the wheels completely fell off. I cringe to look at boxrec and see if JCV is still fighting.
