    Pryor was at a higher level than Hearns was at this point. Hearns came into his own the next year. I always thought it was a bit ridiculous when people say Leonard or Hearns should have fought Pryor as professionals when they were welterweight. Pryor never fought at a high level at welt., and by the time he could have moved up Hearns and Leonard were either moved up and winning titles at 154 or retired like Ray was. Hearns would have stopped him I think easily at 147. Leonard would have beaten him also. Duran and Benitez were a year or two off fighting a champion Pryor at 140.

    Good fight, but it's a man against boy in there.Pryor did win it by good margin.But what's interesting to me is that this 17 year old managed to floor Howard Davis Jr in the finals of the AAU tournament.
