    Tommy Hearns wins in 3.
Too much fire power for Hopkins.

I just want to know how people are picking Hopkins to KO Hearns quicker then he KOd Trinidad, in what is recognised as one of Hops best fights.

Has does everything better than Trinidad at middle IMO. Better boxer, better puncher, taller, bigger reach, stronger and hit harder. Chin probably the same, at worst.

Harder to hit, his chin at middleweight being "absolute glass" is a ludicrous statement for anyone to make.

It certainly wasn't the best I've ever seen(!!), but glass it wasn't.

Hearns could just turn this into a boxing match, not a fight, like he did to beat Virgil Hill when past his best.

here's a quote from the same time.

    (from an NY Times website)
No reason that wouldn't work against Hopkins. And that right hand is always there just in case....

55/45 in Hearns favour IMO. (but then he's one of my favourites, so I'm hopelessy biased.....)

    Glass is pushing it severely.

This isn't Julian Jackson we're talking about here, it's Hopkins, if he's going to stop Hearns it's going to be from accumalation. Hopkins has a very good chin ( although his defense won't allow it to be tested that often ), but I think Hearns had P4P strength. He's stopped some iron chinned fighters in his time, one of which includes Duran whom Hagler wasn't even able to stop.
