sure, but I never saw Barkley decimated.. Benn knocked him out, although I would have loved to have seen how that fight would go without the 3 knockdown rule which on that fight was not a good rule.
I agree Benn fouled Barkley. But regardless he was on Barkley like stink on #### that was was Benns day. I see Barkley ending up like Tiger to be honest.
Probably. he didn't have great defense. The funny thing is I think had the rematch of Hearns/Barkley been scheduled for 15 rounds, Hearns would have stopped him. That is a case where a longer distance would help Hearns. I think Barkley was ready to go.
It wouldn't be interesting. It would be an execution. It's a mismatch of class, a mismatch of size, and a mismatch of styles. The Blade goes 3... TOPS! More than likely end inside of 2. This is a man who was bounced up and down by Nigel Benn, and you're wondering how he handles the power of BOB FOSTER????
I would favor Foster but wouldn't be surprised if Hearns outboxed him. Who were the best Bob defended against at 75?
Food for thought: Hearns' win over Hill is arguably a greater win at 175 than anything Foster has on his resume, not even factoring in the weight jump for Hearns.
Dick Tiger > Virgil Hill Eddie Cotton > Virgil Hill Finnegan, Ahumada, Hank, Rondon, and fourie would have been difficult fights for Hill
A 22 loss Eddie Cotton was not better than Virgil Hill. That's complete bull****. Tiger was old and in the wrong weightclass; there's an argument to be made that Hill was better at the time of those fights.
