I don't like Hearns at 168 against Froch. Hearns is the greater fighter for sure but I think Froch can handle Tommy's right hand and he will maul Tommy with his strength. I think he stops him late. Froch to me is very underated.

Froch by knockout. Too strong for Hearns.

Tommy gets Bute'd. I think he would brute force attack him like Hagler did

Hearns might get caught like he did against Barkley. But, more times than not, his superior skill, speed,, and power bust Froch up.

Hearns would win easily. Jermain Taylor was winning against Froch until the last few seconds. Hearns beat a better fighter in Hill and the performance against Andries for example would beat Froch comfortably. Froch is tremendously overrated.

    Amen Chris. Amen.

A man who was dropped hard by the right hands of Taylor and Groves (and struggled with their jabs and handspeed) being favored over the greatest right hand puncher who ever lived.

Froch is overrated on an epic level around here.

If Froch steps forward with his right foot when he throws his right hand, like he did in every fight of his that I have seen, Hearns might kill him with a right hand.

This. Hearns won’t get anywhere trying to knockout Froch, since it won’t happen. I also see Froch stopping Hearns late.

Why won't it happen? Tommy Hearns can't improve on what George frickin Groves almost did?

Hearns can hurt Hagler, but can't hurt Froch?

Froch can't do what Barkley and Kitchen did?

Barkley didnt care. He had a completely reckless/swarming style and didnt care about eating shots. That bothered Hearns.

That was NOT Carl Froch. I dunno at what point Froch acquired this reputation as some walk-through-fire killer, but he wasnt.

He's liable to become gun shy when he eats Hearns' right hand.

It took him 12 rounds to dispatch of Taylor, and really Tommy's chin was no worse than Jermain's.

    Carl Froch is a myth.

Y'know what? I agree. I question the validity of my own point when it's liked by NoNeck.

The best guy Hearns ever stopped over 160 was Dennis Andries, who wasn't even that good. He wouldn't knock out Froch. He'd either jab to a decision with clenched butt cheeks or get sloppy and let Froch knock him out.
