Notice how Ray puts his elbow onto Floyd Sr's shoulder thus publicly asserting top dog/underdog dominance:hey That interview had all the reciepes to be quite explosive but Floyd Sr sensibly backed down:yep

I hope Tommy does not do an exhibition. I would rather see a real sanctioned fight than an exhibition. A real fight means Tommy will not mess around and will land his good punches early and fight tops. Exhibition means they might go hard or they might not. Usually exibition is one guy going harder and one not, and then when a hard punch lands , the other guy has to equal it. Tommy once did an exibition against Bill Superfoot Wallace. whoever that is .. Some kickboxer.

Lets cut to the chase - i think it would be a sad affair if these two get together in anything other than a very very lighthearted exhibition. Even then it's stretching.

I don't. Why mess around with an exhibition. Punches will be thrown. The Mayweathers play so many games. I would rather have Tommy think it was a real fight and go for it. Otherwise Floyd Sr. might try a sucker punch.

What would Hearns gain either way?

I just don't like the exhibition type format when it comes to a Mayweather. Any other guys would know what that means and fight and put on a good show. It isn't a good idea. If it was a sanctioned fight I would feel good about it. Mayweather Sr. must weigh about 165 or so and Tommy probably can weigh 185 now if he gets in shape. But Tommy fighting a real fight comes to fight more and it would be more interesting and he would be aware of all punches. Exhibition he will not put his all into.
