    For all his skills Tommy was not the most resilient guy around. I never meant to imply that Tommy would just walk through Kessler. However, I can't really think of anything Kessler does better than Tommy. Maybe power, but even that is debatable.

    Anyone who says Kessler is a moron, Kessler is no where the fighter that Hearns was.

    Anyone who says Hearns KO1 is also a moron.

    Clearly people need to go watch both of their fights, it's obvious for me no knockout is coming in the first round.

    My god - your guys are still living in the past! The boxers today is just alot stronger and more skillede and overall in better shape! Hearns would die in that ring with Kessler!!!!!

    Hearns by early/mid KO. He's way too big, too strong, too fast, has a better jab (and that's saying a lot) and a hell of a straight right.

    Fighters today aren't better, as a whole. Some are better, some aren't.

    The Hearns of the early 80s would be dominating 147 and 154.

    Kessler isn't more skilled or better than Hearns. He's just bigger and more natural at the higher weights than Hearns.
