    Benn wasn't helped out..

commentary team push him away and pulled the cables from him. They could well have pushed him on the floor, they were just protecting their equipment!

The galls me how many Americans change facts to suit their own agenda
    .
That Benn got up to win proves he would have won a rematch anyway.
Why is there so much need to discredit Benns victory

I'm a big Hearns fan...but I'm afraid Benn would have his number. Tommy is winning early, maybe knocks Nigel down for a 5 count...But sooner or later a desperate, raging Nigel Benn would catch up to Hearns...Benn is one dangerous middle/super middle...it would be a great fight.

I think Hearns has a decent shot at getting him out of there early, but if he doesn't he'll likely lose. Benn's a BIG puncher and quite wild which are both signs for dangerous times. Benn too could be stopped tho and Hearns is the much classier fighter. If Benn has a great chin Tommy would be next to no chance, but it's not that way. I'd install this even money or 7-5 Hearns at the most. I could follow Benn being a slight fave tho.

I would have to lean towards Benn on this as well. Hearns had trouble with seek and destroy punchers - such as Hagler and Barkley. Benn might have been able to find his chin as well - and he certainly had the power to drop him. Could Benn have survived long enough to drop Hearns is the question. What a great fight this would have been!

Benn was better at 168. I'm going with Hearns by knockout.
