This might go the same way as Hearns vs Roldan. Roldan and Antuofermo both rough, tough customers though I don't know whether Antuofermo possesses the power that Roldan had. It's Tommy's fight to lose and he should get rid of Vito before the 8th on a TKO or possibly earlier if Hearns connects often with the right cross, left hook combo.

BTW why Hearns of the Hagler fight? There was a rumour that Tommy's legs weren't right in that fight and if so, it's an unfair advantage to Vito. I presume you mean the best version of Hearns at middleweight, which would be the one that KO'd Shuler.

Hearns would cut Vito up badly just by jabbing him. It doesn't work out well for Vito either way, he doesn't have the power to stop Hearns, even at MW.

Yeah, Emanuel Steward claims the night of the fight that he left Tommy alone for 15-20 minutes and when he came back one of Tommy's entourage was rubbing down his legs. Tommy said his legs were lifeless before the fight. Either way, I can't envision Tommy taking out Hagler, so I think the outcome would've been the same, maybe just a longer fight.
Likewise, I think Hearns is a really bad matchup fro Vito. He'd just take too much punishment coming in. The Hearns of Hagler or Shuler would stop Vito I believe. Lots of blood.

I don't think Vito would be kayoed, He had a tough chin and would keep the action on the inside & smother Hearns like Hagler in thier first fight. But the Hearns jab is the key, Antuofermo would be cut to ribbons. Hearns by bloody TKO victory in eight.

Hearns would have Vito bleeding like a stuck pig by round 5. Hearns by TKO.

Well in their 2nd fight Minter beat the **** out of Vito, busted him up and they had to stop it in 8 rounds,so i'd expect Hearns to probably do it quicker.

Alan Minter jabbed Vito's ears off, Hearns would do the same.Antuofermo started bleeding if you looked at him hard ,he even had surgery ,shaving prominent bone off his brows, but nothing helped,he had a good chin ,but little power. What the likes of Maurice Hhope and Minter could do Hearns with his long wingspan and considerably better power ,would do ,only easier.Mid to late rds tko

This is the type of fight the would make Tommy look great. He would win it big and probably inside five.Vito was good against guys like himself rugged hard and somtimes dirty, but Hearns would have been bad match up for him.

Vito's downfall would be his fragile skin combined with his short arms. Hearns would pummel him from outside, and in the process Vito would end up with multiple lacerations around his eyes. Hearns TKO (on cuts) inside 6.

Tommy would stop Vito in about six rounds, but if he couldn't cut Vito up, he's in for a long night, possibly a decision loss.
