Of course not as styles make fights. Still, Mayweather would be trumped against Hagler because of styles (Floyd isnt exactly great against quick southpaws) and prime Hagler you can be sure, will not give Floyd time nor space to adjust.

You know i'm not a sackswinger so it doesn't matter ... in the case of Floyd v Hagler would be too significant of a jump in weight ... if it had taken place at a catch weight then I would have to give the edge to Floyd but at middleweight ... a weight that Floyd has never fought would give Floyd a ton of trouble.

Even Light Middle Floyd would get beat as Hagler was known to come in a few pounds light of the 160lb limit. Although, who is to say cutting those extra 3 pounds wouldnt affect Hagler?:think

Fighters can overcome physical disadvantages,we know.
Please, finally, explain to me though how you shouldnt consider height, reach, speed, power etc when weighing up a fight. How they can 'mean nothing'.?
Youre again just going to give examples of smaller guys doing well and avoid explaining your wrong point, arent you?

Of course you should consider physical attributes when weighing up a fight.Somwetimes misleading, but it still makes a sense to do so.

How can anyone who Knows about boxing say this? NO ****ING WAY THIS HAPPENS. Hearns is 5 inches taller, has about a 6 inch reach advantage, a lightning fast jab, devastating combos, far superior power and is just a much bigger bad ass. Its not even a fair matchup @ 147.

I have to agree. Hearns either stops or decisions Mayweather and definitely would have put him on the deck if they fought. Tall, fast and powerful, he would have been too much.
