Seriously...WTF was that **** all about?

Hearns and Paul Williams have two similarities...they're tall and they're black. Game over. End of comparison.

Hearns would knock the goatee off of Williams with his jab alone.

Floyd would systematically break down Thomas Hearns ... who was known for his power and length ... Floyd would use his ring savvy, defense, and accurrate punching to win UD.

Floyd is also faster and has a better center of gravity ... being that he's lower to the ground he has better balance.

The endurance and stamina of Floyd's is better than hearns - who throughout his career had trouble being took in deep waters. The body punches of Floyd would make a big difference as well ... I don't think that Hearns would be able to solve his attack. Jabs consistantly to the body ... straight right hands to the body ... then once the focus is on Floyds body punching - thats when he goes over the top with pin point right hands.

This will confuse Hearns all day and when ever Hearns gets close enough to be effective Floyd would just tie him up.

Quick movements and using every part of the ring would be to his advantage.

Hearns has never seen a fighter like that throughout his career. It would be very hard for Tommy to land.

You can't compare it to SRL because Floyd will not allow himself to get hit as SRL did.

Hearns is an offensive fighter ... who was very hittable and when he got hit - he turned into a brawler ... he had power and it was evident in both hands, but he's his totally mind frame was offense. He had problems clinching and never knew how to get himself out of trouble. Thats when at times when he lost he was knocked out.

Hearn's was only effective when he landed and i'm going on record to say that he wouldn't land as much against PBF ... if anything PBF tires the "hitman" out and takes advantage of him in the latter rounds.

    PBF UD.

you do realize that hearns was the best technical BOXER of the fab 4.

a pbf body attack you talk about is laughable. tommy keeps him on the end of that jab all night . yes tommy got tired against srl, but that was after absorbing punishment that pbf does not have the tools to inflict. the smaller man gets starched in this one.

You know one thing against Floyd you cannot do is get tired ... and we all know that Hearns has gotten tired during fights ...

At 147 ... Floyd would whitewash him to a 117-111 UD.

You act as if Floyd is just going to let him jab him all night ... Floyd is going to neutralize the effect of Thomas Hearns biggest weapons ... by the mid rounds Hearns is going to looking for a target to hit.

Unlike SRL ... Floyd doesn't get hit flush much at all ... The power of Hearns won't be a factor, because like now ... Floyd spars against SMW and LHW ... so he would be used to the power of a man who's fighting at 147.

Floyd is in better shape than Hearns and he's alot faster ... I know Floyd's endurance will over shadow Hearns' ...

what fights did he turn into a brawler? besides the hagler fight.

now you say the man who was eating dlh's jab wouldn't get hit with one of the best jabs ever.

tell the truth, you have never seen a hearns fight haveyou.

    Are you guys reading?

Floyd is not going to allow himself to get hit flush with one of those right hands and he's going to be aware of what Hearns' biggest weapons are.

What about Hearns endurance ... we all know that Floyd is consistantly in shape ... he would be able to go 15 rounds easily ... you've never seen Floyd look tired or exausted after a fight ... you don't even see him swollen or bruised. Not so much of a bloody lip ...

This guy spars 10-15 min rounds for 10 rounds ... he usually switches sparring partners every other round.
