Langford had only one loss before, a TKO loss vs well known heavy handed MW Avtandil Khurtsidze who was supposed to fight BJS last year but was imprisoned before. Welborn had a famous point loss to William Warburton who had an epic record of 18-96-8 before. Somebody saw the fight and can tell us if it was a classic "rob job" in boxing?!
Saw someone on social media posting from the fight. Said Welborn started very well and basically turned it into a scrap. He seemed to think it was a fair decision.
It was a bull**** decision, just did the RBR in the General, had it a near shut out for Langford, 118-109, O'Conner that asshat docked Tommy a BS point for being hurt along the ropes, then Tommy went on to land far more voume throughout the rest of the fight, Welborn stunned him a couple a more times, but nothing too severe. At worst Tommy won by 115-112, terrible decision here. An automatic rematch should be ordered.
boxnation could have easily have picked it up this is the sort of show they should have on all the time it's a joke because alot would not have known it was on lol
Watched it, thank you for posting it on here. I scored it 114-114. Thought Welborn started strong and finished strong with Langford winning 5 rounds in a row from 5-9. Langford was throwing the flurry of punches but a number of them were hitting gloves and weren’t really hurting Welborn. Welborn on the other hand was throwing less shots but they were landing and were clean power shots. He was showing effective aggression and ring generalship. Langford is a lovely boxer to watch but he lacks power. Khurtsidze walked through is eye catching flurries as did Welborn tonight, and they made him pay for it. I wouldn’t call it a robbery at all. It was a great fight and both fighters gave it everything.
I statrted to watch AFTER round 3 Nd i had it one to langford. Hes a good fighter but it seems he was built as a suanders.opponent and has been tossed aside. Hope im wrong
Great fight I had welborn 2 up alot of close rounds tho. The fight was shown on BCB boxing page on Facebook.
