Is Jones' body known to clone itself after he gets KO'd?

Tommy's record against heavyweights is ridiculously superior, and there may have been a time between Tunney's retirement and Sharkey-Loughran I when the Philly Phantom was actually the best HW in the world.

Let's point out that in their four bout rivalry, Tommy won the last two over Steve, and that Loughran (who's potential for loading up with power was never questioned) actually decked and decisioned Sharkey to get to Carnera. (Yes, I reakize the Gob was in decline, but still, one might expect Jack to have that psychological edge. However, Loughran, like Tunney and Greb, is widely reported to have been that rarity in boxing, genuinely fearless. Sharkey was out of commission for two years after Loughran II.

Max Baer, Jimmy Braddock, Jack Sharkey, Steve Hamas, Arturo Godoy, Paulino Uzcudun, King Levinski, Ernie Schaaf, 6'2-1/2" Pierre Charles, Young Stribling...it's a solid resume with two future and one former HW Champion.

We see Tommy's impeccable foot positioning against Walker and Braddock, two wildly disparate opponents in back to back title defenses.

Best for best, I just don't see Bob able to catch him. He's not making Mike Quarry's mistake of moving in like that. BF would be badly outmaneuvered, and he's not outjabbing Loughran from long range. Nobody did.

Gene Ward's narration of Carnera-Loughran along with the footage makes it very clear that their title bout was far closer than 11-4 for Da Preem. I can't see spindly Bob surviving Primo's physicality through to the final bell over the Championship Distance.

What was BF's best decision win? Those came when he was fading.

At their respective peaks, Tommy had far too much experience. Yet, when young, he actually officially decisioned Greb right after Harry won the MW Championship at a time the Windmill was going toe to toe with Tunney. (it was between Harry's first two bouts with Gene, and in their five bout rivalry, it was only their final match where everybody agreed that Tunney had become clearly superior.)

As I consider their footage, I just don't see it. If Bob somehow catches Loughran. Leo Lomski showed that Tommy had survival skills. I just don't see BF catching Loughran though.

I don't think anyone is arguing that Foster was as good at Heavyweight as Loughran,
However I'm presuming the fight is at 175lbs and Foster's resume is much more competitive at LHVY
