Tommy Loughran vs. Bernard Hopkins

    well put and very subjective. I always looked at Loughran's fight with Carnera as a an excellent display of brains over braun. I know he lost the fight by decision, but he went the distance with a monster of a human being. That says something to me. What do you think would happen if Hopkins faced Carnera?

    Tommy Loughran, like Willie Pastrano, had the perfect style for beating Hopkins....fast afoot, mobile, jabbing...and it's been pointed out already that Loughran had experience fighting much bigger men than Hopkins. Hopkins wouldn't have a hapless, one dimensional opponent plodding after him. Loughran would be too fast, smart and busy for even the crafty Bernard Hopkins.
