Valid point, but Corbett also appeared to have performed far better in their rematch. I’d think Tommy would be better than the version of Corbett that fought Sharkey.
Loughran might not have been able to break an egg with his fists, but he was happy to get into a slug fest with a puncher if it served his purposes.
