Tommy Morrison arrested, looks like an old man

Sorry to bring up an old post, I just got registered a little while ago and was reading this thread.

The photo link I just posted was taken in August of 2011, roughly 3 weeks before Morrison was arrested.

I think the photo of his mug shot is just a result of bad lighting, and him being unshaven. Look at him here in this photo. He looks in good shape, maybe a little lean but still broad in the shoulders, big forearms. Good color and he has his hair. I really think it was just a bad photo taken at the police station.

On his official facebook where that pic came from, he has posted other recent pics, and again, he looks nothing like the photo from the police arrest.

 

Tom made bail, he is now home in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

I believe he was officially held in jail for either 23 or 33 days. He is due back in court sometime this month to face the charges, which are right now misdeameanors, but based on his previous record and the fact that he is still on probation from that March 2010 arrest, he may end up doing time. His girlfriend, the english lady some of the articles talk about, was providing us updates on him through his official facebook, although I haven't heard any new updates from him since about November, he did an interview where he said he is seeking some places to fight in 2012. He mentioned that he has a valid license to box in Washington State. He has also talked about fighting in West Virginia again, and Texas.

I think Tommy will have one or two more fights, but its more of a retirement thing now, i don't believe he will ever again find meaningful fights as long as this debate is going on over whether or not he will submit to testing.

If Tommy could find himself a good trainer, and have like 2 warm up fights, I say he has more than a punchers chance against either Klitschko. Tom's biggest problem was his chin, and I'm not sure if its gotten better during his time away from the ring. He hasn't really been tested since 2007, he took some pretty good punches from John Castle, but Castle isn't even on the same planet as Klitschko.

I'm more intrigued by what Klitschko would do the first time he eats a Morrison left hook. I dare say Tommy could KO him in one punch if he caught him flush. Tommy needs a good trainer and he needs to take any fight he can get right now, he needs work in the ring.

Morrison's tale is intriguing. He says he wants to fight. He appears healthy and physically fit. Alleged HIV issues not withstanding, why doesn't Tommy fight in the places that he is actually licensed in? I am saying Tommy doesn't want to subject himself to the tests, but he will not take any fights in the states where he is licensed to box.

Tommy got a license just this year in the state of Washington. It's good until next year some time. He can also fight in West Virginia, and Texas, as well as going overseas. If Tom wants to fight so bad i can't believe he hasn't explored this avenue. He had no trouble finding opponents when his comeback first began.

I don't know I'd say the Morrison has a slightly darker tan than the klits so being just that bit closer to being black I'd say that got to up his chances a bit of beating the pale White brothers surely??

 

His mom is an Arapaho, if memory serves.

That's definitely him... what a shame. I can't believe he used to be such a great explosive heavyweight. But that was almost 20 years ago also.

 

he looks like a little old hobo now. His body proportions are also very odd. Skinny arms and legs with a big torso. His pecs are fake implants, and he's now got huge abs which he didn't have when he was younger.
