I never understood the hatred of this guy he even gets hate for being in the worst of the Rocky movies. Hardly his fault that movie sucked now is it? I wonder if Stallone has anything to say about this.

i believe the ESPN piece. I take the word of his mother and immediate family over that of his wife.

No disrespect intended to Trisha, i have spoken to them many times over the years and consider her a friend, but she has made some crazy statements over the past couple of months. Her stating that a doctor told her that they would perform CPR on Magic Johnson, but not Tommy, to me, was bat**** crazy, and I really don't believe that would happen.

The two recent articles have been posted by Trish herself, so i doubt the validity of them. As others have poitned out it is a complete opposite of each other. Tommy's mother says he is days away from death, and his wife say that he is going to be okay.....

I just read on the Official Journal of the international aids society, that Gulliean Barre syndrome is actually common amongst people suffering from aids. It states that for many years it can lay dormant until the HIV infection worsens, so maybe Trish figured that nobody would research the ailment.

    http://journals.lww.com/aidsonline/...ain_barre_syndrome_during_the_chronic.17.aspx

This is a long article on it, but if Tommy truly has Gulliean Barre (and he likely doesn't), there is a cance he could improve with aggressive anti-retroviral therapy.

But i would have to wonder if he somehow does pull through, would he ever walk again, or speak, or eat on his own? What kind of damage is done to the body from laying comatose for over a year? Is a full recovery even possible?

If he could get a boxing license like he did 2008, Wilder would fight him.

Oleg Maskaev who apparently Wilder wants to fight next and Tommy Morrison are the same age 44.

Morrison would fit in perfectly with Wilder's "opponents." Hell, he'd probably be a step UP! :patsch

All it takes is one left hook, even from an ill Tommy Morrison, and those chicken legs would fold underneath Wilder.

Morrison also said that drugs, not HIV, caused AIDS, while he was abusing drugs, so I have more of a reason to believe that his drug use prevented him from developing AIDS, or cleared it up, than I do to believe that drugs causes it. This is, of course, if he really never had AIDS/HIV like he claimed, but he does, so enough of this drugs/AIDS nonsense.

I also think that it's time that we stop talking about Tommy getting back in the ring. He's never going to walk or talk again, let alone fight. He may not even open his eyes again. He is dying from AIDS - period.

The member 'The Akbar One' should be restricted from posting in any Tommy Morrison related topics. His constent denial (like Tommy's denial on HIV) doesn't add any values to the topic.

He says that we are a group of freak posting about his dying status for a long time now. Well that is because Tommy is in the last stage of HIV (now AIDS) and that phase can have a duration of 1-3 years. So yes, he is dying (slowly), his body is slowly shutting down and at one point his heart will give up.

And ... not only this forum report on the final days of Tommy but major news network are picking up the stories. Are we all freek?
