Tommy Morrison...has there ever been a better left Hook.!!!!

One of my fav all time fighters.

 

He would have destroyed guys like aj and wilder.


If Morrison had thrown this left hook aj would be laying flat out for minutes.

Tommy was a great fighter full of heart and loads better than he got credit for

 

George Foreman gave him alot of credit.

I once see a old video of george putting morrison in his top 10 hw's at the time.

Morrison had the best left hook .

 

Tommy was a very good fringe world level guy who had a very sad end to his story.

I wonder how his son is getting on?

 

That left hook of Whyte was an instinctive left check hook. Maybe 50% power compared to a full wind up hook. This shows me that the chin is weak with AJ

 

Morrison didn't have 80 pro bouts. But his hook was great and he was a lot better fighter than most people remember or give him credit for being.

Joe Frazier hook broke you down. It wasn't explosive or known for knocking out modern sized heavyweights.

 

Morrison was a dangerous bloke kill or be killed type of fighter that the fans love .I remember Mercer telling his corner This kids trying to kill me.bit off more than he could chew with Mercer but a loss to ray was no disgrace.fight with Tyson when Mike came back would have been huge and its a pity the Bruno fight fell threw that would have been awesome too huge punching fighters with dodgy chins .Tommys end was a sad sad finish to a good fighter .RIP champ.
