People post fraudulent things about Morrison about to die of AIDS every few months. Most people don't even know what causes AIDS.

I asked Ross if he had seen or heard from Tommy lately. He said that the last he heard Tommy was very ill and in an ICU in Tennessee. Ross seemed saddened and very concerned.

Over the summer there were lots of stories regarding Trish keeping Tommy's family from seeing him, telling tem he wasn't sick, etc..

Evidently his son was practically begging to see his dad and wasn't allowed. Tommy's niece accused Trish of letting Tommy get this sick by telling Tommy that he was fine and didn't need the HIV medicine anymore.

There's an article out there in a KC news website that is now famous for Tommy saying he is able to teleport and that the human body can re-grow limbs. In that article, the interviewer mentions how sick Tommy looks and that he was starting to get forgetful. There are pics of him and aside from being in a boxing ring, he pretty much looks as bad as ever...

Really sad to hear this, assuming it's true. The Duke has always been one of my faves in the ring. Win or lose, a Tommy Morrison fight was almost always entertaining!!

Say what you will about his AIDS denial, but the man was an entertainer in the ring - and as a boxing fan, I'm grateful he was in our sport.

I recall him being on an internet boxing radio show a few years back and they took my call. I got to talk to Tommy a bit. What a thrill that was.

Here's praying for him and his family.

I don't understand why Trish is hiding Tommy Morrison from the world. She obviously knows a ton of fans want updates on the Duke's current state! Why can't she post pictures or information on his current state instead of talking to random sources that claim they have spoken to her. Why can't Tommy Morrison address his fans by posting on his facebook or contacting a media outlet? Just before the most recent arrest with the horrible mug shot, Tommy Morrison was being interviewed left and right by media outlets claiming to not have HIV....then all of a sudden it all ended right after that crazy picture with open chest wound surfaced. I don't get it. We haven't heard from him or Trish in more or less a year. There has to be someone who knows where he is located or that has seen him in the last year besides Trish....right? This drives me crazy....is he alive/dead/catatonic....what? I think Purrity might be right..he is probably on life support in ICU. Makes the most sense to me...or he is already dead.

    It is indeed sad news.

Tommy lived a very crazy lifestyle and always entertained me with his fights. I can't help but feel bad about the way he obviously lived, if not for his health, for his family and close friends.

Tommy always comes across as a nice guy to me, regardless of his notorious reputation.

As of this summer, Tommy was in no position to read fan mail or get on the computer. one of Trish's posts on Tommy's official facebook was that if any mail was sent, she would read it to Tommy.

Over on boxing asylum, a guy had spoken with Tom Virgets over the summer, who said that when he visited Tommy, he was about 150 pounds and on a feeding tube. Hard to believe he is in the great health Trish claims he is in.

I'm like you, why hide Tommy from his fans / family? So the truth is out he has HIV / AIDS. His family and friends will still love him and support him...

she probably is doing what he asked her too. no one that is sick wants sympathy or to be looked at as a sad case or being sick , especially when they were elite athletes at one time and this is what has become of them

From what I have read and from what I have been told over the past couple of years it would appear that we will never know the total truth and in a way we have to respect that. I know as a supporter of Duke that I have been on his side when the facts may go against him but ultimately I think we have to let him and Trisha go through this situation in which ever way they feel most comfortable. If it ever turns out that the whole HIV diagnosis was wrong then some people will have to eat humble pie for being so harsh towards someone that has just been dealt an unlucky card. If it turns out he is a victim of this virus then if anything we should all get behind him, support him and remember the entertainment he gave us in the ring. What goes on in his personal life, as much as we may want to know, can just stay that. Personal.

I know the reports come thick and fast and a lot of drivel is in amongst it,but the bottom line is,at least in my opinion, that we should prepare ourselves for the inevitable.
It's tragic, and I hate how a man's health and possible death has become like a seedy tabloiud guessing game.

I reckon Tommy will go soon and I just hope he doesn't suffer too much(as opposed to dying in agony)
