A good one. I'll side with Morrison speed and power. Schultz was tougher, but didn't have good defense, nor a big punch to respect. Morrison via TKO in 6.
On the list of flawed punchers, which should include Wilder once he retires, I think you are correct. Morrison has a punchers chance vs anyone. And he had very good hand speed behind that power. It's not Tommy's fault Bowe's manager pulled out of talks to fight him after Morrison defeated Foreman. Keep in mind Morrison was fighting with AIDS, and lots of injuries. Just as he was on the rise agin with Don King in his corner, he was forced to retire.
Morrison never had a significant KO win. He had fluke and debatable win over an ancient immobile Foreman where he literally ran for his life against a guy in concrete shoes. It was a strategy that he never replicated because it would never work against a set of live legs.
lol@ fluke win. . How do you fluke a win over 12 rounds Tommy schooled him in the art of hit n move. Shannon Briggs didn't do half as good against an older and even more immobile Foreman.
Please he literally turned his back to a glacial Foreman and ran away to the opposite side of the ring... It was pathetic. And worse, upon a rewatch, I scored it a draw. I don't even think he did enough to win.
Foreman himself knew he lost that fight. He received hooks that would have dropped a horse. Typical runners don't land with that type of offence even if it was sporadic. If Tommy would have traded he would have lost. He learned his lesson from the Mercer loss so adopted the right strategy and came out victorious. Micheal Moorer didn't move his legs , look what happened.
