Besides that 1st round against Lennox, Briggs has never impressed me. He had that look of the prototypical heavyweight champion of the millennium. Too bad his talent didn't match that look. Not even close.

Fun fight for 3 rounds before Briggs tires first...

Just how many big guys did Tommy fight? Like the size of Sanders and so on? An ancient Foreman and Lewis? Who else? A stale Ruddock? The only tall guy with tools he fought was Lennox. He did nothing in the fight.

All it does is point out his defensive flaws are magnified fighting with that kind of disadvantage. Morrison does not dip real low when he throws. He never had the knees to get real low. By the 4th round he's upright anyway. Height changes the arc of the punches the guys with hooks throw. No different with Morrison.

I think a tall hitter is all wrong for Tommy's defense/punch taking abilities. You do not.

You are forgetting to mention Briggs at least had a good chin. Better than Morrison's one would think. Better than Ruddock's too for mine. He also had a right hand.

What size? Briggs had 2 inches of height on him and 4 inches of reach. How is that ridiculous?

Didn't Morrison admit to using steroids?
