    .

Mike Tysons ex-manager Bill Cayton was trying
to hype his new heavyweight Tommy Morrison...

he got him showcased on ESPN... USA Network...
NBC WWS... etc... early in his career...

he landed him in the Rocky V movie...

    Cayton had connections...

got Morrison on PPV showcased undercards like his
fight was a co-main event against Tillis and Vaulin...

the Vaulin fight was the fight right before Foreman vs Holyfield!!

they hyped it like it was Rocky vs Drago!!!

Go watch it if you've not already...

They show movie clips and tell how Morrison is the
nephew of John Wayne and show Rocky 4 clips before
the fight.... including Morrison KO compilations...

then in the fight Morrison is eating punches like
    Dustin Nichols eats sandwiches...

    :pop

I'm not hatin on Morrison but to be truthful he
was hyped even more than Wilder but his fights
    are fun to watch...

Once Wilder steps up to dangerous opponents
he'll be hitting the canvas many times...

    :hey

My pick is Morrison. Morrison would've tortured Huck. Morrison has faster hands. Morrison fought some very tough heavies. Povetkin fought Wlad and Huck who damn near beat him weighing 209 lbs.

    Foreman was pulling his punches...

He took it easy on Morrison...

Go watch the fight... the crowd boos when
Foreman is doing nothing when a tired Morrison
is right in front of him... begging to be hit...

I have the full PPV broadcast on DVD and they
show clips of Ali KOing Foreman and compare
    it to Mercer KOing Morrison...

Morrison states in the pre-hype that Foreman
called him after the Mercer loss and gave him
    advice and they became friends...

    Next fight after Foreman...

Morrison brutally KTFO in 1 by unknown
bum fry cook in Michael Bentt...

After Bentt massacred Morrison he got
KTFO by Herbie Hide in his next fight!!

    :hey

Foreman of 88 - 94 absolutely destroys Povetkin. Stewart came very close to being blasted out in the second round. He implanted a defensive gameplan of sticking and moving on the back foot for the rest of the fight .

Povetkin fights one way and one way only. On the front foot. Left hook -right hand . The same pattern over and over.

Nobody beats Foreman by walking into him. You simply dksab.

    Many heavyweights survived Morrison early
onslaught... by round 3 Morrison was gassed...

Povetkin would have (both in their primes) turned
Morrison into a rag-doll punching bag like Mercer
did or blow him out in 1 like Bentt did...

So instead of responding to his struggles with Schulz, Grimsley, and Savarese you conveniently leave out the years those fights took place, even the Schulz fight which took place a mere 5 months after Moorer. You clown

Povetkin beats 50 year old Foreman. You can have that if it makes you happy.

I see the similarity in them but Povetkin is better in several areas and will show it as his career continues.

    .

    Sasha by Brutal KTFO!!

    (Prime vs Prime)

the fat Povetkin that trained on Vodka and
    Hookers vs Huck.... well....

    he'd absorb Morrison's early onslaught...
wait till Tommy shot his wad then...
    Brutally Knock Him Silly...

    :dead

Povetkin's worst night was a Split Decision win against the Cruiser Champ

Morrison's worst night was a first round blow out to a complete Chump.

You watch too much Rocky V. Tommy was very intellingent in the ring which was why he knew how to pick his shots and throw brutal combinations. Combined with a good Jab i think Povetkin will be on ***** street within the first 4 rounds. But Povetkin can fight and on the inside might crack hard enough to put tommy on his butt. 50/50 fight.

Morrisons noodle chin might be his undoing. Its more an uncooked Ramen style brick but still noodle none the less...
