Tommy Morrison Vs Alexander Povetkin

Povetkin, the olympic gold medalist, looked better after his lose from Klitshko(Povetkin wasn't prepared for clinching over him all the time, there was a reason for that tactic instead of fighting with him).And against Joshua he was the better one before he get tired.Some people here are really underrating non american fighters.
P.S.I believe he will lose it vs Whyte.Too old.

 

Great even matchup. Tommy obviously has the bigger single punch, but Povetkin has the more versatile aresnal and the more educated delivery mechanism. Tommy could sometimes pause a little bit before unloading his hook/combinations. Povetkin is able to launch them without a delay, and he's more versatile with his angles and ranges at which he's dangerous. Better stamina too.

I'd lean towards Povetkin to KO Morrison late after Morrison begins to tire of the pace and starts getting caught with double and triple left hooks that he's not braced for. Tommy could definitely give him a scare or two early though.

 

Lean toward Morrison, I've never been impressed by Povetkin. Morrison 60/40 in this fight

I’d say Povetkin but it’s a style clash ,Povetkin would have to pull a Ray Mercer which was take punishment then get Morrison when he sees he’s slowed . Morrison is one of those guys he’s either going to steam roll you or struggle badly ,to inconsistent to pick in this one .
