Does the big punch win out here, does Byrd's slickness carry the day, or do none of my scenario's play-out?
Then starts yelling, "Praise the Lord, I had sex last night! God is good!" [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDFelcPAe2s[/ame]
Byrd slaps the **** out of him. Don't think Morrison's stamina or chin was any better then Jimmy Thunder's, honestly.
I think Morrison is just too slick for him to be honest. Byrd would be baffled by Tommy's footwork and head movement, swinging at air and falling behind on points. Maybe Byrd has a puncher's chance...but if Old Prime Foreman couldn't catch the Duke...nobody is.
Byrd by 12 round decision or very late KO if the Duke doesn't stop him early. The longer this fight goes, the better for Chris Byrd.
I don't think Morrison would have any respect for Byrd's power and would walk him down and stop him like Ibeabuchi did
Agreed, Look at what Tommy did to heavyweight champion Union Cane ( Mike Williams ). There's no way Byrd can compete with that.
9/10? It's a fraction. And about right regards in overall ability. What Tommy didn't have he made up in other ways, 1st rate power, hand speed, decent movement. Certainly not the chin or stamina of Ike, but we only have a small sample of Ike to judge on. Had he gone on in his career, more flaws would probably have emerged.
Agreed. Tyson said Bruce Seldon made his face look like hamburger before they fought. Joe Hipp was tough, kinda like Francesco Damiani and Gerry Cooney.
