Tommy Morrison vs David Tua

Credit where it is due, this is an excellent post and makes the points I wish I had made , in mitigation I have been imbibing the Russian Standard Vodka rather recklessly tonight.

 

I like both these guys, fan friendly fighters. I'm picking Tua because of his better chin and he has a proven track record of koing guys while being behind on points. Maskaev, Rahman, Izon, Oquendo, were all outboxing him before they were ko'd. I could see Morrison outboxing him before he gets caught, plus Tommy's stamina wasn't the best.

This is how it would play out exactly.

 

I'd like to point out that Morrison reasonably could fold after the first punch Tua landed . Ruiz and Moorer did.

 

Morrison knowing the power of tua will try to out box him early and will be rather successful. He'll avoid tuas slamming hooks and counter him. Tua will walk in to morrisons punches time and time again but won't be fazed. Half way through and tua finally kicks through and crack s Tommy. Morrison will try to rise but the ref ll be quick to jump in.
