Morrison was a better fighter than Bobick in my opinion.

Nick Wells gave Bobick problems (though Nick was a southpaw) as a amateur.

Morrison by k.o in 5 rounds.

    Morrison wins, likely early.

Morrison by KO early. Bobick folded like a cheap table vs. punchers.

This is a mismatch. Neither man had much of a chin, but Morrison at least took a clobbering from Mercer and Lewis, before getting dispatched in rounds 5 and 6. Bobick was finished early by anyone who could get to him right away, weather they had a punch or not, and Morrison was both a fast starter and a hard hitter.

Morrison KO inside of 2 rounds.

Bobick was very strong and had underrated skill, but that would only matter as long as he was standing. I don't think Bobick had the power to finish off Morrison early (though he might have an outside chance in the fatal fifth) but Morrison certainly had the power to KO Bobick early. It's easy to forget now just how much power Tommy possessed; it's also easy to forget that Morrison was actually very skilled in his ability to find ways of delivering it. Morrison also has an edge in speed here which would make a big difference.

Morrison TKO2, after dropping Bobick several times.

Both could be KO'd, but Morrison was better than Bobick.....

    P.S.

Tommy really only got iced once in 1993, while Duane Bobick got iced by Norton and Tate in the late 70s.......:yep

Longhorn, the only time I saw Bobick fight Nic Wells was in the final of the '72 national golden gloves and while I don't know how other bouts they had went, this finale was a one sided pounding by Bobick. It ended with a right hand to the chest that put Nic down for good. As for Duane against Tommy, Morrison just seemed to have allot more power in both hands.

Too bad Duane Bobick was bad at warming up in the dressing room. He seemingly came into the ring dry too often...... However, He had broad shoulders and owned power.... He just use to get caught cold.........

It would be just like Norton-Bobick. Morrison KO 1 Bobick.

He had no chin if Michael Bentt could KO him in the first round.

But still, he'd KO Bobick in the first round nonetheless.

you obviously are an idiot. wells had broken bobbicks nose and it was a mess. nick had a massive gash above his lefteye brow that bobick only had to breath on to make it fester. the cut was caused by horseplay at the team hotel 2 days prior when nick chased a teammate out of the room who threw a lemon at him (the guy was sucking lemons to make weight) just as nick was at the door his teammate was coming back into the room and nailed nick with the door.therefore causing an injury that would be an issue for him the rest of his career. nick went on the next day to ko larry holmes in the first rd, to set the stage for him and bobbick. the ref stopped the fight while nick was on the stool going into the 3rd rd because blood was causing nick seeing problems. nick was easily winning the fight. get your facts straight,,, or dont speak at all.

I dont think much of Morrisons chin and habits but Bobick was a better amatuer than a pro, he developed a strait stand up style and was easy to hit and did not really have power.....Morrison should stop him or it could go to the cards in a close fight
