Either man could win as they were both flawed but dangerous.

Bruno is probably a bit better overall but for some reason I think Tommy KO's him.

Same here. Undefeated Morrison was a damn good fighter.

Either man can be KO'd by the other, but how does the fight go? Bruno's jab should be landing first. Can Morrison slip the jab to get his own punches off? I don't know. Does Bruno smash Morrison on the way in? Possibly.

People will point to Bruno's Smith and Witherspoon losses but he was winning those fights early and didn't have the stamina to see them out. Morrison's stamina is also pretty suspect.

The other factor is both were very much protected fighters but Bruno was put in with far higher calibre of opponents than Morrison. Morrison also has embarassing performances like getting taken out in 1 by Bentt who'd be comatosed in his next fight against Herbie Hide. Purity beating Morrison all over the canvas. Got his jaw broke by Joe Hip who was beaten more handily by Seldon and Bert Cooper. And when it comes to his best wins:

Rudduck was pretty much 4 years retired and it was a war, no disrepect to Morrison as it's a great fight but this was a past prime man

Pinklon Thomas - took out an older past prime champ in the 1st round, impressive

Foreman was about 45 but a comprehensive shut out, using his speed and showing some variety, which was unexpected

Carl Williams he put down plenty but was put down twice himself.

    Compare with Bruno's best wins

Well Carl Williams being 1 of the few like opponents - he took 2 rounds longer but had less bother with him and more dominant.

Coetzee - beat Dokes, Tillis, drew with Thomas, lost against Tate, Weave, Snipes, Page beat Leon Spinks in R1. Probably a top 10 gatekeeper when Bruno got to him.

Tillis - not a great win but takes him out in 5 a year after Tyson struggled with him, others have done similar though so a decent fringe win

Bugner - past prime Brit and European champion, ex top 10 coming off wins over Page and Tillis. It's hard to rate this win as Bugner was past prime and had some poor losses a few years before.

Coetzer - Went on a long run with only 1 loss before having 3 end of career losses against Bowe, Bruno and Foreman. Bruno's performance seemed a bit better than Bowe's from recollection as I remember Bowe taking more punches where as Bruno was much more in control.

McCall - probably his best win. McCall was fresh off knocking out Lennox Lewis and just beat Larry Holmes with a very good performance

During his unbeaten streak which top fighter did he beat? Tommy got sparked in his first stern test by Mercer.

Morrison, despite his glaring flaws, had a lot of heart and rallied to win fights.

Because of that, I make him the slight favorite to bounce back off the canvas (or just very rough moments) to stop Bruno. But only a slight favorite.

Fights with heavy handed guys and dubious chins are tough to pick.
