Bruno wins by Brutal KO. People forget that Bruno was truly world class and was always competitive when he lost top guys like Tyson1, Lewis and Bonecrusher Smith (except tyson 2 fight when he was shot). Bruno had serious KO power and would spark Morrison easy.
I like Bruno in this one. Frank to big and strong, with lots of weapons. I like both fighters, both almost always exciting to watch. I am somewhat surprised that so many people on this thread picked Bruno. Nice to see Frank get some respect.
65/45 in favor to Bruno! Really anybody's fight who lends it first... But I think Bruno could not be ko'd by one punch as he proved against Tyson and Lewis so I go with Morrison could be wrong!
Good to see less celebrated boxers getting some respect. Only Bruno's head & inability to cover up & regroup when stunned (good chin otherwise) stopped him from being truly top tier. Get in there Frank!
I did. I didn't know much about either of these two fighters. I saw Bruno losing to Tyson and Morrison losing to Mercer. I voted for Morrison because i like his name more.
If you analyse Bruno's losses......... He was schooling Bonecrusher Smith until his stamina gave out and his lack of survival skills were exposed. He could take a good shot could Frank, but was clueless as to deal with the consequences of taking one. He was competitive against Witherspoon before the stamina became an issue and he lost the later rounds before being taken out. At the halfway stage he was in front. He was scared to death of Mike Tyson, yet managed to rock him big time in the first but instead of finishing him off, simply stood there and wondered what the **** he had managed to do - and was taken out not long after He was out-jabbing Lennox Lewis for 5 1/2 rounds and staggered Lennox a few times, but the stamina gave out to a degree and it was the first time anyone saw a lead left hook from Lewis. Then it was pretty much game over. I think the fight in which he won the title from McCall took a hell of a lot out of him. Don't forget that he was 34 and had been inactive since the first Tyson loss - he was hanging on for dear life at the end. By the time his rematch with Tyson came around, he was 'mentally retired' having accomplished his goal, and was only really there for a payday. Back to topic, Bruno TKO mid rounds.
