Tommy Morrison vs Gerry Kooney

I like ****ey. Bigger, more powerful and a little sturdier in his prime.

 

****ey by a quick knockout. I think ****ey had a better career than Morrison, I don't think Morrison produced a performance the level of ****ey's against Holmes.

I reckon ****ey would get out of the blocks very early and knock Morrison out pretty sharpish.

 

Pre-Holmes version of Gerry would destroy Morrison.

 

Gerry's size and reach may be the difference here. Morrison has gotten up off the canvas to win. Interesting fight I did respond double left hook TKO a couple of years ago haha. Im gonna go ****ey within 4, could go either way though.

 

Michael Bentt styled KO is quite likely.

Morrison fought and defeated muc better fighters than ****ey ... I like Tommy.

Actually ****ey was a pretty good Boxer he was just an alcoholic and had a few drinks before every fight He really needed prozac. Anxiety issues. I think that he would have knocked Tommy out. by the 6th or 7th round. His left hook was devestating

 

Gerry took Holmes 13 tough rnds against a lesser champion he would the winner. Morrison can not match that .would be a great fight though Gerry mid rnds.RIP Tommy.

 

Bigger? I would say taller.. Morrison was 6'2 and ****ey 6'6. Prime conney weighed 225 pounds and tommy 227. Morrison hits harder for my money
