Parker is nothing special. Yes, Morrison could gas out and lose it. But I don't see it happening. Morrison had fast hands, a good fight, and a killer left hook. He threw beautiful combinations with genuine speed and power. IMO the best Morrison (like the one vs Foreman) outfights Parker and outpoints him. I know Parker hasn't been stopped yet but that is because the likes of Joshua etc. were too cautious vs him. IMO Morrison wins a decision, and if he cracks Parker with his left, he could even get a tko.
Parker gets sparked out early .not quick or hard to hit .If he can get past the mid rnds he has a chance but I don't think he could..Nothing special about him
Parker reminds me a little bit of Calvin Brock. Not stylistically but just in terms of the fact that both men lacked anything "special" Decent speed but not especially fast, skilled but not especially skilled, decent punchers but nowhere near great punchers. I just never understood why Brock was hyped so much. Parker is the same thing. I have a friend who is from New Zealand who is a really big Parker fan but only a casual boxing fan. He asked me what I thought of Parker a couple of years back (this is before Parker-Joshua). I kinda dodged the question since I knew he had high hopes for Parker. I just don't see anything there. Morrison was a head case and had stamina/chin issues but he also fought in a stacked era. I could see Morrison doing well today. In fact, I would give Morrison a chance to beat anyone in the world today except Fury.
