I think I would know if I had it backwards, Curtis. I grew up watching Tomas Archibald Morrison and everyone in our tribe idolised him. Which means that we quote unquote on quoth "loved him excessively." He had no left hook. Back in Easton, he was a god. He was a one-two artist who could also throw great uppercuts, even long range and short, crisp, punishing body shots. He could knock you down with his jab his straight punches were so sharp. But the left hook was weak, I'm sorry. That is why Norton nearly won so far past his prime againsteth him. So, thank you for your concern.
When I look closely at this matchup , I just see Ken Norton KFTO on the canvas out COLD Morrison was a powerful man , Explosive and such a fast starter and extremely dangerous in those early rounds from what I remember. Norton was a slow starter on the other hand and his chin is what truly worries me. I see him being overwhelmed early and don't see him whethering this storm . Sorry I don't like this fight stylistically for Norton . Morrison KO 1
You could say the same thing for Morrison....could he survive Kenny's power? After all, the man was dropped by Carl Williams and stopped by Michael Bentt. Neither big punchers and one could argue that Norton hit harder than both.
One of the most thankless betting fights. Both are chinny, but Morrison even more so. Norton doesn't have a good record against punchers, which means Morrison would have to box a perfect fight (like he did against Foreman) to win. 50-50 I don't know how to decide
It's crazy because on another thread I just said how David Tua would brutally dispatch Tommy, now here, I believe Norton is a far better boxer than Tua but I think Tommy would melt him early. I think Tommy was the frame/size and power that troubled Norton throughout his career, I don't think he'd survive a early onslaught to get to Tommy later.....................what's crazy is that I still think Norton would completely befuddle someone like Tua although I think Tua melts Tommy. Boxing is strange that way
